It rained all night and much of the day, including some torrential stuff, and then it suddenly cleared up completely and we had blue skies again.
The children had a friend over to play, and I had a friend come for lunch, so we were all happy. Later we went over to our pool supply shop to spend some more dollars (definition of a home pool: a big sink in the yard into which one throws money).
I have replaced the gasket on the pump basket. 'Basket gasket' is probably easy to say if you are American or from the North of England, but not if you speak RP. Try it: bahsket gasket. Sounds daft (dahft), doesn't it?
