We spent a good chunk of this summer-like sunny Sunday with friends - a sort of Mother's Day (as it is here) brunch type occasion. We met some new people, and caught up on our friends' news, and generally had a good time.
This afternoon the Man has been labouring in the field, or at least mowing the lawn - first cut for this year. He obviously wasn't the only one with that idea, as the neighbourhood has hummed with mowers all day.

ReplyDeleteNo, but it was as epic a struggle as the 1953 Cup Final. (There were other players by the way but we didn't get the internet rights).
ReplyDeleteGutted to miss out today on the England Squad for the World Cup. Ashley Cole and I are both victims of the inflexible "youth first" policy.
