I met a friend at Five Rivers early this morning and we walked some of the trails. Mist hung over the meadows, geese flew overhead and deer leapt across the path ahead of us. It was all rather magical and lovely, and an excellent way to start the day.
And otherwise: I've made final craft preparations for Saturday, had the car serviced, taxied children to skating and drumming lessons respectively. The Man has been away (Ithaca) since yesterday, but should roll in at some late hour.
There was some more sad, though not unexpected, news from home today - so once again, we send love over the Atlantic, wishing we lived closer. I'm remembering my Auntie Sheila, and how she used to love jelly babies.
