The Man writes...a day off work gave me a chance to take the Girl to lunch.
To let the Girl try a wider variety of Japanese food we headed off to (the oddly named) Sushi X in Latham. For $13.50 they offer an "all you can eat" lunch where you select any number of small plates by ticking what you want on a paper menu. The choices include a wide range of sushi but also a number of items "from the kitchen" including miso soup, tempura, salad, egg rolls, dumplings, tofu, fish and chicken dishes.
Once you find what you like you can order it again. And again. The Girl took full advantage and ended up ordering three portions of chicken teriyaki.
Interesting food and good company, together with the relaxed atmosphere and the cool decor, made it a great way to spend a couple of hours. Although the Girl did regret eating quite so much when it came to the following skating lesson.
Wasnt she acharacter in the Muppet show?
