Chillin' with neighbours

We've just got in from our neighbour's annual pig-roast celebration.  As usual, it was fun to see some local friends and enjoy the entertainments (this year there was a "dangerous juggler", as well as the ever-popular caricaturist, bands and beer tasting).  The Girl spent part of the proceedings in hiding from her 5th grade math teacher, who was there as a guest.  The Boy came prepared with a torch (flashlight) and ran back and forth in the wooded end of the yard.

Though the music continues from over the fences, we are talked out for the evening.  Not to mention there's a chill in the air - it might be time to start putting blankets back on the bed at nights.
