So, everyone survived the sleepover. Some on a lot less sleep than others. We said goodbye to the last guest around lunchtime, and since then we have been creeping about carefully as if slightly hungover - which we aren't, it just feels that way, our brains still reverberating from all the screaming of the day and night before.
The Girl's friends are not short on personality, that's for sure. Individually they are all perfectly nice, but en masse they're, like, totally overwhelming. However, the Girl enjoyed their company and had a great time. And it was worth it if only for an experience in contrasts: I don't think the house has ever felt so peaceful as it has this afternoon.
Ahhh. Never again. Well, not until the next time, anyway.
