It ain't half hot, mom

Hot, hot, hot.  Even first thing this morning, the heat outside felt heavy.
Just up to 99F today.  The pool was cool and welcome once again.  The Boy and his buddy have been designing paper submarines, which are more successful than they have any right to be.

It's a bit cooler this evening, but my brain is still sluggish and I can't come up with anything much else to tell you.  So over to you - what's going on where you are?

  4. It is hot here...occasionally...in between the rain, wind, overcast, more rain. I just wish it would be consistent for a couple of days as I just don't know from one day to the next whether it will be sandals and t-shirt or wellies and jumper. O well, going to Scotland next week so that should add to the confusion!

  5. Good luck for summer hols, sporting events, trips to Scotland and elsewhere. Honestly, you're welcome to take some of our warmth if you want it...though in fact it may be on the wane here soon, anyway.
