For the last few days I've been busily capturing video for that community TV programme. My (decidedly amateur) footage features quite a few local storekeepers and other fair trade fans of my acquaintance. But today I had my own turn in front of the camera, being interviewed by the production company.
It wasn't my finest quarter of an hour, I'm sorry to say. I burbled on, completely forgetting everything I'd filmed and should have been talking about. At least no future viewer will need to endure the full fifteen-minute serving of waffle - it'll be edited down to a thankfully fleeting sixty seconds or so.
Ah well, another venture crossed off the list. I can forget all about it now until the first screening next February. But meanwhile I'm sure there's something else I'm meant to be preparing for, some significant date that's...no, you're kidding me? Christmas is next week?!
How does it do that every year?
Yup - and at last it feels Christmassy here - we have snow (only a bit though)!
