My overall observation of the class was that it's a smooth-running set-up, where everyone seems comfortable with what they have to do. I also noted that while ten year-old girls are quite sensible animals, ten year-old boys are mostly goofballs.

DAREdevil
Today it was the turn of the Girl's classroom to open for visitors. I went along in the afternoon. There were no special events, the kids were just following their regular Friday timetable. So there was a "word of the day" test, some geography (designing their own islands), a weekly reflection sheet to fill in, and a performance of "the DARE song" (DARE stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education), which the Girl later told me is quite fun but she can't really see the point of it.

In defence of 10 year old boys, as long as you treat them like labradors and exercise them VERY regularly they're fine!
