We had a disturbed night - the Girl was sick several times. It seems to have been food-poisoning, as she was perfectly ok again by morning and up bright and early and it was her poor parents who were the ones that had to drag themselves wearily out of bed.
We stayed close to home all morning, though in the afternoon we visited the new school both kids will be starting at in a couple of weeks. It is, conveniently, quite close to home too. More of that anon.
And this evening the Girl had a date with her Girl Scout pals. They are planning to join a mass camp-out in late September - 200 girls sleeping four to a tent and cooking their own dinners on campfires. Could be fun!
Lots of new experiences await us in the fall, then - and it'll be here before we know it.
