After yesterday's trip to the Wild Center we spent last night back in Lake Placid. We made extensive use of the hotel's swimming pool, and had fun on Mirror Lake again - though not boating this time.
There was more outdoor skating in the afternoon on the Oval - the speed-skating circuit from the 1980 Winter Olympics. It was wonderful to skate with views of surrounding mountains and under blue skies and bright sunshine.
looks absolutely fab, am v.v.v jealous, and darent' even show the pics to the rockkids. All we have here is sleet and more sleet (just in case you were missing a good british moan)
