Never snows but it pours

It has been nothing but snow and rain here since Tuesday afternoon. Though there's still plenty left from the big snowstorm on Wednesday, the new snow always turns to rain before it gets the chance to accumulate. And the snow we have is no longer the light powdery stuff we've come to appreciate here, but is more like British snow, wet and heavy.
