Staying afloat

Well, that was a very happy and relaxing stay with the Exiles - many thanks to them for their hospitality, for fun on the beach, enjoyable meals and great company generally.

It all seems a long time ago already, though, now that we're back in our house and suddenly overwhelmingly busy as end-of-summer rushes to meet us.

Meanwhile out in the pool, a chipmunk had a watery adventure this evening.  By the time the Boy spotted him he had managed to pull himself onto a passing raft, and although he then jumped off again we were able to scoop him safely onto dry land.
