A bridged version


It was rather cloudy this morning as we were leaving Carmel for a long drive, along coast and through farmland, back up Route 1.  It was sunny as can be a couple of hours later...in San Francisco.

We crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, just for the sake of crossing it (you don't get to cross an icon of engineering every day), and for the views of the city over the bay.  It really is all as beautiful as you think it will be.


Tonight we are in SF itself, at Fisherman's Wharf, which is a bit tacky and very touristy, but we have some business around here tomorrow.  We have two days to explore...
