After a wonderful night's sleep we woke up ready for a day of visitors (lovely to see some old friends who dropped by) and an afternoon of magical adventure.
My parents happen to live in Watford, which is just a hop and a skip from Leavesden, where the Harry Potter movies were filmed. (In fact my Dad used to work there, when the site was still Rolls Royce, before it became a Warner Brothers Studio.)
We were very excited today to take the Harry Potter Studio Tour. We had to book our tickets weeks ago to ensure ourselves a place. And - wow! It was amazing. Really, a fabulous experience. I won't go into detail here, partly because I don't want to spoil any surprises if you haven't been (and you should!) and partly because we're all pretty worn out after five hours taking everything in. But we'll sort through some pictures and post some more soon.
The hop and skip were motorised I recall!
