Who guessed that the useful item bought on yesterday's shopping trip was a nose clip?
The Girl leans towards slightly non-standard pursuits. Today she took her first lesson in synchro-swimming.
The lessons are held at the local YMCA. Since it turns out no-one else has signed up for this session, she's getting one-to-one coaching for a whole hour. Now, given that this is synchro-swimming, it would seem a little off the point to have nobody to practise swimming in sync with. But for the time being she's really just being taught basic moves and how to keep to a rhythm, so she's still going to be learning plenty.
The Girl enjoyed herself, and the coach told me she did well, so who knows - this may be the start of a whole new area of interest.
