The Boy took part in an "Odyssey of the Mind" session this evening. It's something one of his schoolfriends has invited him in on. I haven't totally fathomed what it is yet, but I think it's a bit like a kids' version of The Great Egg Race - remember that show? Only there's clearly more to it than that, because when I went to pick up my son at the appointed time he and eight other 4th graders were down in the basement dancing a rumba. The Boy caught my eye, gave me a "No, I don't know either" look, and danced on.
Only time will tell...
