Much of the day was devoted to closing the pool for the winter. We haven't swum in it for quite a while (too cold, 54F), but today was the earliest I could book the pool guy to come round. So, I was up at the crack of dawn to scoop out leaves and frogs, vacuum, take down the fence etc. The pool guy turned up with his mate and finished off the winterizing process, adding chemicals and making sure no water was left in the pipes to freeze and cause damage.The Man had come home from work, and together we fixed on the safety cover, which should stop foliage and small children from falling in until next summer. Within an hour this was covered with fallen leaves - we've closed up not a day too soon.
To follow on from yesterday's comments - yes Insane, you'd be a perfect LN Editor, and its a perfect excuse not to join any other committess. And if you don't want to do it all yourself I reckon Maths expert is the perfect partner. Albaniana, I know you laugh at the fact that Lintonians talk to each other via your blog rather than in the playground, but it really is the most reliable method of communication
