I'm Mrs Posters in this town - always doing the rounds of the local shops, cafes, schools, churches, library. I know where all the community boards are. Today I was being particularly efficient, pinning up posters for two different events that fall within a few days of each other.
I don't know how many people still look at posters, other than me (I can't help looking at posters, even in towns I'm just passing through). So these days I do a lot of virtual posting, too - yup, Facebook. So instant, but actually not as fun as dropping by and saying hello to all my favourite shopkeepers, restaurant owners and librarians.
