I spent several chunks of this morning at the local Catholic School, which was holding a Fair Trade sale between Masses at the nearby church. As ever, I was there with my table of FT leaflets.
The sale was happening in the cafeteria, while in the main hall tables were set up and laden with Christmas gifts being donated by the congregation to various charities. It was an impressive quantity of gifts. Do you think people with religion tend to be more generous than those of us without? Discuss.
This afternoon the Girl had a skate date with a school friend, and the friend's mother and I also took to the ice. Ninety minutes hard skating takes it toll, and this evening I've been asleep on the couch.
