Damp Busters
I'm sure the forecast today was for 'chance of showers' and not 'constant steady downpour', which is what we actually had. Still, the Girl was happy - she likes rain, and rushed out to dance gleefully on the driveway.
I had some work to do on the computer this morning, so the children obligingly vanished themselves to their rooms and enjoyed their own company for a couple of hours. We restocked with library books in the afternoon, because a rainy day is a good excuse for reading. The Boy now has as many reference books about Orcas as anyone could possibly want.

He is a boy after my daughter's heart. She even has a cuddly stuffed orca to go with her seal collection. She keeps them on opposite sides of the bed tho - just in case.
