Damp Busters

I'm sure the forecast today was for 'chance of showers' and not 'constant steady downpour', which is what we actually had. Still, the Girl was happy - she likes rain, and rushed out to dance gleefully on the driveway.

I had some work to do on the computer this morning, so the children obligingly vanished themselves to their rooms and enjoyed their own company for a couple of hours. We restocked with library books in the afternoon, because a rainy day is a good excuse for reading. The Boy now has as many reference books about Orcas as anyone could possibly want.

Tonight we have had one of our occasional family movie nights, huddled together in our office watching The Water Horse and scoffing Pringles. And it's still raining.
