So far sew good

I taught my second sewing class at school today. The room was hot, the children tired and hungry, yet they still had a good stab at stitching pincushions - here are some examples.

I spent most of the rest of the day at home, sewing there too. I hope to finish my quilt project by the end of March.

I note that our friend the Exile took his Christmas lights down yesterday - to make room for some last minute sparkly green shamrocks, perhaps? St Patrick's Day decorations are all the thing this month (have been since just after Valentine's Day, actually). Our front porch looks very dull and lacking in Celtic jollity, with not so much as a leprechaun or pot of gold to be seen.
