Miss Marmite (tee-hee)

Today has mostly been devoted to sewing, plus lunch with Exile #2, which was a happy interlude. Being carless for the day, I walked round - about 30 minutes at a brisk pace (and the briskness was inevitable because conditions are still below freezing and breezy with it).

This evening we briefly had the company of toddler E5N1 while his sisters had their skating lesson. He is always good value. At one point he was sitting eating fruit next to the Boy's Pete-the-Repeat parrot. When the parrot unexpectedly spoke to him his mouth dropped so far
open that a grape fell out.

The Girl had her Girl Scout 'international' meeting tonight. She took marmite sandwiches for everyone to try. Apparently this resulted in multiple trips by her fellow scouts to the trash and the water fountain. The Girl was unabashed and gleefully wolfed down the leftover sandwiches (I suspect this was her masterplan all along).
