Rain, dance

I taught at Five Rivers today, for the first time in ages.  It could have been a lot of fun with a group of lively 2nd graders, but unfortunately we had to contend with constant rainfall for the entire two hours.  By the end the kids were wet and cold and hungry, and had really had a enough of Nature and the elements.  So that was disappointing.  Ah well.  I hope they'll get to come back to Five Rivers some sunnier day.

This evening we attended the Girl's latest Irish dance recital.  It was an enjoyable half hour performance, but Man and Girl had to dash away at the end to get somewhere else - back to the kids' very first school here so the Girl could witness her old classmates' graduation. School's out now for them, while the Girl has just a couple of weeks to go before her own Middle School era ends.

  2. Doesn't seem possible that all those years have gone
Pity about the rain but without it it would be No Rivers and Im sure they would appreciate it in California
