Trip or treat?

Yesterday the Girl had a very early start before a three-hour bus journey - a school outing to the Bronx Zoo!

Polar bears!  Red pandas!  Goats!  I gather it was a very enjoyable trip.   Nominally "educational", but it sounds like it was really just a jolly.  Well-deserved, mind you - the Middle Schoolers have been working hard this year.

Kids at the Boy's school also had a treat yesterday - ice-creams all round during the annual whole-school Art Show.

This evening, the disappointing news that we're not getting our Man back for another week - he has to stay on in Korea.  There's not much to be done about it.  Let's hope he gets the chance to post some more great photos.
