While we're in a reflective mood, here's a simple but moving sculpture in the garden of FDR's library in Hyde Park, New York. On a plinth carrying the four freedoms identified by FDR in 1941 - freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from want, freedom from fear - stand two larger-than-life human figures fashioned from parts of the Berlin Wall. It's almost twenty years since crowds started tearing down the Wall one November night.
