Wet T-shirt experiment

I had a brief transatlantic correspondence with Insanely Livid today, in the course of which she mentioned that her tumble dryer had given up the ghost.

That got me thinking about how useful tumble dryers are, especially when it's too cold to hang the washing outside to dry.  Which made me wonder, like you do, what would happen if I did hang some wet clothing outside, it being one of those waaay-below-freezing kind of days.

So I soaked a T-shirt and hung it out on the porch.  An hour later I brought it in again and discovered that what happens is you win loads of cool points with your kids because you've frozen a t-shirt.

If it isn't cold enough where you live to do this at home...consider yourself lucky.
