The Girl has been writing up an assignment tonight, a project on careers. She chose to research the profession of Video Game Designer - can't think how she comes to have an interest in that.
Last week she phone-interviewed someone from a local video game design company, Vicarious Visions. Apparently what she found out sounded promising, and she genuinely feels it could be the career for her. Good salary - check. Fun working conditions - check. Best of all (from her point of view) she has been advised to prepare for the job by "playing lots of video games."
Grr. Oh well. At least it looks like that rogue taxidermist option is really on the back-burner now.
